Backlund goal against the Capitals last year was one of the nicer ones I've ever seen.

Also his pickpocket against the Canucks

Jarome Iginla's 2 goals against Vancouver in Game 7, 2004 are number 2 and 3 for me.

Number 1? Jarome Iginla in Game 1 Vs. Tampa Bay in 2004. Iginla tracking his own rebound on a breakaway. Never gives up.

AC, thank you for all of these.

Definitely haven't heard that level of excitement on the game call for Flames goals scored in Edmonton on a national broadcast since Mark Lee.

Until I watch the Flames win a cup the Gelinas series winning in Vancouver will always be my favourite. I fully expected them to lose at that point and the goal lifted off the massive weight of years of failure while kicking off a wild ride.

Other memorable goals during that run were the other 2 Gelinas winners, the 4 goals to comeback in game 6 against Vancouver, the Montador and Nilson game 1 OT winners, and the Saprykin finals game 5 winner after “The Shift”. I also distinctly remember the Conroy goal in game 7 that opened a glimmer of hope.

Then during the 2015 run my favourites were the Stajan series winner and the Gaudreau tying and Backlund winnings goals in game 3 versus the Ducks.

As far as regular season goes there is Iggy’s 50th, another one Iggy scored top shelf versus Phoenix to tie the game late in my last game at the Dome, the Stajan penalty shot, and the Tkachuk through the legs OT winner.

My all time favorite goal is the Game 6 2004 OT goal versus Detroit. That's when the run became real for me, plus I was in the nosebleeds and people were going crazy. This link always gives me chills.

Another was Jokinen's first game with the Flames I think, scored 2 nice goals. I thought the Flames were going to be a powerhouse after that.

47 secs and 1 minute 36.

You could say Steve Smith scored one of the greatest Flames goals.

My favorites - Lanny, game 6 SCF 1989. Gelinas - O/T series winner vs DET 2004

Out of any goal I've ever seen the Flames score, this one and Gelinas goal against Detroit Game 6 are the two I remember as if it were yesterday.

Hey AC, do you have the highlights from Iggys hat trick in Edmonton, I think back in 2001. I believe it was the year Drury was on the team. They were wearing the black horse jerseys and won 4 - 3. I think Conroy score the only other goal for the Flames. Remember that game vividly as I was at the game, 14/15 at the time and had Oiler fans behind me throw things at me after Iggy scored 3. Definitely one of the better games and performances from the Flames that I can remember from childhood.

No, nothing prior to 2004 unfortunately.

That Gelinas game 6 goal is my all time favourite, but it needs to have the Peter Maher call of it, hearing him and Mike Rogers literally brings me to tears every time.

The other one that comes to mind was Iginla from Huselius against the Rangers in 2008:

4:00 mark

Also Stajan’s goal against the Canucks to take the lead in game 6 and his goal against the Oilers on the penalty shot and his pointing to Emerson.

One of the hardest things as a fan was seeing Lanny scratched, little did I know the table was set
