Family Guy/Simpsons Crossover Episode in Fall 2014
This better be good!

We thought we we’d never live to see the day that Family Guy’s Griffin family met Bart’s bunch from The Simpsons, but that day is rapidly approaching. TVLine has learned that in a fall 2014 episode of Family Guy, Peter & Co. pay a visit to Springfield, where they’ll be befriended by Homer & Co.

If this would've happened in 2000, I might have been excited.

Reeks of desperation on both ends. American Dad is the better show now anyway (and this coming from a huge Simpsons fan).
Although the writing was on the wall when Seth MacFarlane appeared on the Simpsons last year. Family Guy was never a good show imo. The first few seasons were alright, but not as good as some people believe. The animation and voice work has always been particularly lousy.

Speaking of American Dad, it's getting picked up by TBS after being cancelled by Fox.

I had no idea it was cancelled in the first place, but excellent news! Still one good animated sitcom on the air. Thankfully they didn't do the same for the Cleveland Show.

Yeah what the hell? Why would they cancel American Dad?
Please tell me Bob's Burgers is still okay...

The Simpsons/The Critic crossover will be hard to top.

He has a point. Both The Simpsons and Family Guy are nowhere near as good as they once were. Let's hope this episode is good.

American Dad and Family Guy are kind of like Futurama and the Simpsons. Its the superior show that's underappreciated.

Yup, that's very true. I actually don't think Seth McFarlene has much to do with the stories of American Dad .. and it shows.

King of the Hill trumps them all though... I've started rewatching some select episodes on Netflix (American) and man oh man... it's a brilliant show.

Let's not go nuts here. King of the Hill was the superior show to Futurama; that's a better example. Nothing tops Simpsons in its prime.

I love Bob's Burgers. That recent episode about the boy band had me in stitches.
Those kids are so weird, so many good one liners.
As for the crossover, yeah I'm not sure it'll be really good, but I'll tune in for sure. Wonder how they'll blend the animations styles.

I think the example he was trying to make was about shows from the same creators.
