Led as in pulled the Flames into battle with hits, goals and rough stuff.
Monahan had more points but if you're talking performance, every Flames fan will tell you Bennett was the most impactful.

1. Smith ####s the bed in game 3
2. Tippett starts Koskinen in game 4
3. Don’t need a step 3
4. Profit!!

They can't let their highest scoring defenseman go either. Only McAvi and Raisaitl have more points. He needs a big long term contract.

Edmonton should be all over Ritchie this offseason. Would increase their offensive output 2x!

Terry Jones column today in the Sun he states that Oilers couldn’t by a bounce or an even break from the officials in game 2. Must have forgotten about that 21 second 2 man advantage that the officials gifted the Oilers in the third period of game 2, eh Terry?? Gawd the media in that city is insufferable!

Oiler fans tend to think that RNH should take a paycut and a long term deal for the honor of staying with the Oilers. Hopkins is probably going to be one of the most in demand free agents if he hits this summer, and he will.
Barrie has completed his show me contract. There's no way he doesn't go out to free agency.
And any replacements if those guys leave are going to cost them a lot more.
I guess if Klefbom comes back and survives a week on the ice, it'll all be ok. But this is just such a badly built team.

Well, what you look for you will find.
How about 0 penalties on the oil in game 1? Does that not constitute a break?
That place is either a circle jerk or an excuse factory at all times.

So....they're in 'Win Now' mode then?
I must admit...its not going all that well for them at the moment.

It’s the biggest mass hysteria event since David copperfield convinced tv watchers that he made the Statue of Liberty disappear.

I've said for a while now that their window really started last year, and its going to be a short window. Even if RNH leaves they're delusional if they think they can get a replacement for him from free agency for the same money. Nurse is ramping up to a monster contract if the Oilers want him to stay. And they don't have much coming up that's going to address their obvious depth issues.
This is probably the best shot for them, a weak division to play in the regular season, and a supposed really favorable first round match up. The window closes a bit if they lose this series and the question is, do you keep both Drai and McDavid or do you move one for a raft load of young depth repair.

Well that would be the intelligent thing to do so thats not going to happen.
Or it might. They could trade Draisaitl for a bag of magic beans that miraculously dont turn into anything and then out of despair McDavid demands a trade and they end up with nothing.
Thats the dream.

When the Oilers lose its all luck and breaks lol
Oilers have been outplayed over 2 games, they were lucky the last game wasn't over after 10 mins.

From what I've seen their fans are expecting rookies to fill the gaps, because that has worked out so well for them in the past. Nothing like throwing a young dman with little to no experience into a top 4 role. Holland will probably blow any cap space on more idiots like Kassian though.
