No one players the perfect game, at least not often. After the game settled down he was undeniably effective. His skating ability allows the team to be able to defend against the likes of MacKinnon and other speedsters.

Brodie had a very strong game. The entire team had a very strong game.

Love watching hard fought, back and forth games like this.

Was thinking the same thing. Sure it's early but Smith hasn't looked very good 3 out of 4 starts. While Rittich has only allowed 2 goals in 4 periods.

Playing goalies until they lost is an old Hartley MO which I'd love to see make a return here. Give it to Ritter and if he blows, put Smith back in -- simple as that.
