I could see Waterman getting his first cap. I want to see Carbeanu get some minutes and agree it would be nice to get St Claire get cap tied

I’m intrigued by Larin again. He’s really had a career resurgence over the last year or two and it would be great to see him score some goals for Canada

Aside from David missing out that's pretty much as good as it gets for Canada. Looking forward to it. And yeah it will be nice if we can cap tie a few players in these early round games. I think Gutierrez (Chile), Corbeanu (Romania), Ferreira (Portugal) and St. Clair (T&T) are all potentially still in danger of switching international teams.

No Osorio is a bit of a gap as well. That lineup should be plenty strong enough though.

Gutierrez, Corbeanu and Ferreira should be good. They've switched from those countries to Canada to get to this camp. St Clair is the only one who hasn't featured for the other nationality. But I think he's not in danger as he was with the U-20 set up a few years ago.

When Stephen Hart was the manager of the CMNT he used to yell "ideas!" at the Canadian players when they received the ball during a game. He did this because so many of them weren't creative, weren't dynamic, just so rigid and unimaginative.

What a difference when you look at the current squad. Players who express offensive creativity and imagination going forward.

Stephen Hart must be watching saying "I wish I had a team like that"

After having zero flow in this game for the first bit Canada is just clearly a level above now

Larin one on one with the keeper and passes. Need to be ruthless and selfish there

Cavallini should’ve scored twice in the last couple minutes. Davies is shredding Bermuda down the left. Playing a very wide winger role, a lot of similarities to the fullback role ge plays with Bayern

Great goal Laryea after a beautifully epweighted through ball from Adekugbe

Now let’s see some of the kids!

Cavallini just got robbed, what a save by the keeper

Almost feeling bad for the Bermuda keeper. Three goals, two tissue nose plugs, one bad day.

Nice for Canada to be in control though. Feels strange.

Debut and goal for Theo Corbeanu! Great feed from Liam Miller

Other than a howler from Borjan it’s been an almost perfect evening

Bermuda’s population is 1/16th of Calgary.

Canada has gotten a massive break with the rejig of qualification, and best take full advantage. But until the final whistle and their spot is booked for Qatar, I am not taking much out of any result they achieve, no matter how big a fish or how small a minnow.

Over the last 3 long decades they’ve looked great before and choked it away, and looked terrible before but needed one fluke thing to go their way and came out on top. Consistency is what this team needs...hopefully Herdman provides it, on the pitch with steady results and play and off the pitch by blocking out expectations of media and the trainwreck that is their own governing body sticking fingers where they don’t belong.

Cornelius! Huge goal to go up 1-0 on Honduras!

Honduras equalizes minutes later.

Canada finally makes a sub about 20 minutes too late, their legs are gone and have been gone since the 60th minute or so. Mo Farsi enters!
