Four episodes in. TWO QUITTERS.

It's time for CBS to stop casting according to their diversity quota, and start trying to find people who actually want to play their game.

Other than that...not a bad episode. The tribe shakeup was expected, as yellow couldn't absorb another loss. Interesting tribe split.

I really liked this Immunity Challenge. Something new and interesting.

Emily appears to have taken her lessons with Kaleb seriously, and could definitely start doing something in this game.

I'm also glad to see Kaleb on a real tribe, and he could be a pretty serious threat, too. I like where this is going.

I also liked Julie's comment about how if they wouldn't have had Sifu for that Challenge, they'd STILL be in the water, in the cage...and she's right. You can't look ahead to the merge, if you don't GET to the merge. Red is the new yellow.

The edit around Katurah and Bruce is a little weird. There's either a lot we're not seeing, even in a 90 minute format, or it almost seems that there's something personal there.

I might pack it in on this season... and maybe this show.

The casting is abysmal.

Could you image someone quitting in season 1... Richard Hatch or that trucker lady would have literally tossed them in the tribal council fire pit for quitting.

Well, that episode kinda...was. Not much going on there, not much of interest.

At least they merge next week, and we should see some interesting stuff happen.

one of the better episodes this season i thought but that's not really saying much. It's nice to see nobody quit today and always interesting to see how a swing vote plays their position.

In terms of the pool, it's early but I think i'm in a decent spot this season. Never have my two players been each others tightest allies.

Kaleb has the Drew connection from the advantage gift, so he'll be able to jump in with them if he wants. I wonder if Emily will try to stick with them now, or if it will be a one vote thing. It will be interesting to see what alliances form up now.

I don't mind this season as much as the previous few, I think there are some good players here, now that we are weeding out the trash.

Even though J was my person, I was still happy to see her go and Kaleb stay. Kaleb is just way more likeable and interesting as a player.

Now that the top 12 are merged, my tier list for most likely to win are:

Top Tier (most likely to win in no particular order):
Drew, Emily, Austin

2nd Tier:
Kellie, Jake, Katura

3rd Tier:
Kaleb, Dee, Julie

Bottom Tier:
Bruce, Sifu, Kendra

I liked J. quite a bit, but because I liked some of her YouTube stuff and less for what she did on Survivor. I liked that the outcome seems to favour Emily though as she was my favourite very early on.

I would say my three favourite entering the episode were:

1. Emily
2. Katurah
3. J.

My least three were:

1. Bruce
2. Kendra
3. Sifu

I could see myself ending up liking Sifu but first couple episodes he seemed more like a cheap Coach Benjamin knockoff. And I already despised Coach Benjamin. Now Sifu seems to have more self-awareness and be less serious about his gimmick and maybe grown on me a bit. But I don't care about the other players enough to not like them. Either way he will be polarizing and be a favourite or least favourite for me by the end, and probably will be dependent on if he becomes an underdog.

Katurah I like simply because she hates Bruce. I could not stand to be on an island with someone who needs to always be on like Bruce. Got to give it to Survivor camera crew for being able to fit his inflated ego on the screen. I cringed so hard when he was playing peak-a-boo with his tribe.

With J. gone Kaleb rounds out my new three favourites.

Nah. Survivor builds the story knowing the outcome. If Kaleb ended up being not-safe he probably doesn't show up as much and we get more of J. and we have a tribal where it ends with Kaleb giving a speech about if it's his time to go how amazing it was with some sad music like we've had recently with other not surprising votes.

But they already ####ed-around-and-found-out in the first season with the alleged production interference and lawsuit. Rigging it exposes them to more liability than it would be worth it.

And there's been like ten shot now, this is only the second safe and only time it mattered.

Plus someone on Reddit did like a deep dive to examine knots and stuffs and convinced himself no rigging took place.
