I saw your add on Kijiji. Keep an eye there otherwise as stolen cells often show up within the first few days. They are also typically sold well below value to get rid of them quick, but not always.
If you do see what you believe to be your phone, call police. Don’t meet the individual yourself. If you do (or if you’re ever doing a Kijiji transaction otherwise), meet in a very public highly populated place. Also, be realistic on what you feel is your phone as well. Yours is green and the newest model so is more unique than the typical Black or white or whatever. But generally speaking, every ‘older model’ iPhone wherein you have no serial # or aren’t sure of the model etc can’t be reviewed or considered yours.
If you have a find my phone app and you get a good location where the phone is remaining and not moving, call us there as well. By good location, this would mean a single family dwelling or pointing between two houses making it obvious it’s one of the two or something to this effect. If it’s giving a ping on Stephen Ave at noon, or somewhere inside Chinook Mall, or to a 36 unit apartment complex, this is not something that can be addressed. It can be very frustrating to know your phone is in a general area like this, however, there’s no means upon which to narrow down a suspect in such environments, so don’t obsess over the find my phone app as it can be both a blessing and a curse.
