Lol, I had forgotten about that. That was bad though. To this day I still can't believe she walked away relatively unscathed.

I've laughed out loud at least 3 times today just thinking of that gif. Ha ha, thanks for bringing it up.

That 80km speed limit was silly. I was reminded of driving in France, through villages no narrow roads where the speed limit was 90 and I was in in Renault Craptur. Even in the rain a Vette shouldn't be at risk on that track...

I thought the speed limit was meant to be part of the challenge. I figured they were expecting more people to be like Courtenay and go too fast.

With the speed limit, and the required time around the track set accordingly, there really wasn’t any challenge. The only challenge being keeping the car under 80, since that vette can probably maintain 75 around most of the corners on that track.

Whoever it was that looked like he kept the car under 60 the whole time still finished (just barely) under 3 minutes.

No, I mean the challenge is to keep an eye on your speed limit when you're tempted to go faster.

I was wondering if the speed limit/time would have been different if it hadn't been pouring rain?

I used the Measure Distance tool on Google Maps on the track and it looks like its total length is less than 3km, so even if a driver averaged 60km/h, they should easily have been able to complete it in time.

Bad episode. All the tasks were pretty bland. Looking forward to Jakarta

The rain probably was a factor.

Rapidly losing faith in my teams lol.
My football coaches definitely are, as they say, challenged in the smarts category.
And that was the worst use of raid pass I have ever seen, by the cowgirls. Jam all that pie in your face and skip a 5 minute challenge? I dunno know...

Ya, we aren't sitting pretty with the boys.
Poor choice by the girls that didn't amount to much of an advantage in the end. Nancy & Melissa will last longer than the guys but not much chance of winning I don't think. They need to stick around though, Melissa is a SMOKE SHOW. My God she's a beautiful woman.

A quick trip to Indonesia for the teams and the blind double U-Turn sends Todd & Anna home.

Dylan and Phil surprise with their choreography skills, each nailing the dance routine on their first attempts (that were shown).

The cheerleaders and the cowgirls continue to be strong and set the pace. In 4 legs, this is the second first-place finish for Leanne & Mar and the third second-place finish for Nancy & Mellisa.
  1. Leanne & Mar
  2. Nancy & Mellisa
  3. Dylan & Kwame
  4. Zainab & Monica
  5. Taylor & Courtney
  6. Martina & Phil
  7. Courtney & Adam
  8. Todd & Anna
  9. Joseph & Akash
  10. Chewy & Happy
  • Fuzz: Chewy & Happy / Martina & Phil
  • topfiverecords: Joseph & Akash / Todd & Anna
  • Amethyst: Courtney & Adam / Leanne & Mar
  • Otto-matic: Taylor & Courtney / Joseph & Akash
  • Weitz: Leanne & Mar / Zainab & Monica

A bad couple of weeks means there will be no top five finish for topfiverecords.

Next week: The teams take a trip to Stratford on Avon ... no, not that one, the one in Ontario. We're heading back to Canada. Indonesia seems like a long way to go for a single leg (Expedia shows the fastest one-way trip from Vancouver to Jakarta as 20 hours).

I know they got the routines fast, but I thought it said 4th attempt or something like that?

And surprisingly the two teams who were u-turned each had a member who knew how to sew.

I'm a little disappointed that they are heading back to Canada again so soon, but hopefully there will be future international legs.

Right you are. I didn't look at the text and assumed that since they only showed one attempt, that's all it took.

Dylan was actually his 4th attempt and Phil his 2nd according to the text on the screen.
