I don't even know why it is interesting which way the far left votes on a Republican speaker. I'd like to see the centrist democrats negotiate some bit of power to support a speaker willing to give a little to the democrats to keep the country running. But the far right is the problem here. Why is he expecting the far left to support Mccarthy or any other Republican speaker?
It's nearly impossible to see how this could play out without either getting some democrat votes or going with a full maga speaker. Both those scenarios seem unlikely. So I guess no more government until 2024?

What I would love to see is ~8 Republicans vote with the Democrats and have Jeffries as Speaker. I’m sure that it would immediately result in another vote, but would still be great to see.
