The opening game of the U-18 Asian and Oceania Championship saw Thailand beat Kuwait 57-0 on Tuesday, marking one of the biggest blowouts in IIHF history. SoG were 122-1.

South Korea beat Thailand in the same tournament in 1998 92-0.

The players from that tournament are now 43.
