WCQF: Nashville Predators (C1) vs Dallas Stars (WC1) — STARS WIN SERIES 4-2
My prediction: Nashville won the division and has been playing really well as of late, but the Stars haven't been doing so badly themselves, either.
I see this one going the distance. Home ice will likely be what tips this one in the favor of the Preds.

This is the first time these two teams have met in the playoffs.

Predators in 6. Both teams play strong defense and have good goaltenders. Nashville has the offensive depth to outlast the Stars.

I'm going to take Dallas in 7. Something not right with the Predators this season and is the Stars can get quality goaltending they could pull the upset.

The Preds picked up Granlund, Simmonds, Boyle & McLeod for this run. I really like the Granlund pickup and could be a difference maker. Simmonds is your prototypical playoff player and if he gets hot, watch out. Adding four players can equally have negative impact of your team and Rinne is yet to prove he's Stanley Cup capable.
Preds in 6 as they're too deep for Dallas

Stars score 8 goals in 6 games and win the series. Dallas has more game breakers and goals will be at a premium in this series.
