26 years old and three 30+ goal seasons as well as six 20+ goals seasons with the lockout year being pro rated. Injury concerns have disappeared the last 3 or 4 seasons.
Skinner would be a huge add.

The injury issues are behind him until someone hits him again.

This has been such a boring draft. So disappointing.

I would be interested in adding both skinner and lindholm. Hanifin I could take or leave to be honest but if we can get all three for something like Hamilton and Bennett I'd do it.
Skinner and lindholm... I wonder if bennett+brodie would be enough

And don't force trades for top players....let them come to you. Treliving is chasing a RW or chasing a 1st rounder....he is going to overpay like he did with Hamonic.

That's a great strategy for a handful of markets.

That's brilliant. All Tre needs to do is sell them on Calgary like it's Manhattan or the bay area to level this playing field. You should submit this via the Flames website in case he hasn't thought of it.

Pretty sure he's been rocked once or twice in the last few years. Maybe even in one Flames game.

On the Calgary Flames …
Quote:
TSN Radio Vancouver: Pierre McGuire on Dougie Hamilton rumors: “I don’t think it’s a personality thing. I think people just don’t think he produces to the level he’s expected to. But Calgary doesn’t have one pick in the first three rounds….so maybe that’s why you trade a Dougie Hamilton”

Quote:
Kristen Anderson: GM Treliving: “We have a lot of proposals we’ve put out there. We’ve got a lot of lines in the water. We’re accepting offers. We’re making offers. Now whether anything formalizes, I don’t know.”

Also explains why McGuire hasn't been hired as a GM if that's his line of thinking.

^ Is he expected to be Karlsson?
I expect more out of him because he is so talented but it's not like he hasn't been elite for the last two years. If he was doing what he was doing in a big market he'd be top 5 in Norris votes.

I didn't expect to get a pick in the first round. But I did think we would have made a trade by now. This is So Boring

OMG, I sure hope that Tre reads these boards so he can learn negotiating 100 from the Master......

Some cash freed up in the Hanifin deal, maybe I'll throw it out there that we still have the peices to cover the rumoured ask for Kessel.
A puck moving defenseman (Brodie)
A strong two-way winger (Frolik)
B prospect with upside (Poirier)

I don’t think Poirer has upside anymore.
