Barca should be thanking COVID though, this might have been 18-3 in a tie.

I just like that Bayern kept on going. I hate when a team gets a lead and then shuts it down and plays 'Prevent Defence.'
Bayern just hammered on the gas.

Late to the party but that was glorious. Bayern shows why they are the favourites. Semi finals should be some great matchups

still think City will turn this around, but Lyon surely look like their nemesis. Lyon also had a win and a draw in their group stage games last season.

Who was joking that they could have fired him at half-time? It probably wouldnt have hurt.

Looking like another textbook Guardiola overthink. Makes little sense to have Rodri, Fernandinho and Gundogan all out there.

Do we have a player costs and wage bill comparisons between City and Lyon?

Dembele makes it 2-1. City have 10 minutes to salvage this ...

All French and German semis on tap, maybe the PL and La Liga are the real farmers leagues?

Now Pep can go back to publicly pretending that the Champion's League doesn't matter.

beating Juve and City is an incredible achievement, no matter the circumstances. Take a bow, OL.
their midfield is super impressive. Caqueret (20) has played a total of 8 league games, Guimaraes (22) has only played a handful of games for Lyon so far because of Covid, and Aouar is only 22 as well. Two of those three are homegrown as well. Not bad.

first time since 1991 (before the new CL was formed) that no English, Spanish or Italian team makes the semis. Crazy stuff.

One of these games Pep is gonna outsmart himself into accidentally playing his best lineup. But that loss is 100% on him, his arrogance to show everyone how smart he is has cost him again. Can’t imagine anything less than winning this next year will keep him his job.

He has already said he does not want to sign an extension. Starting that back 3 and refusing to adjust for an hour was crazy.

That is probably the worst miss I've ever seen, even without factoring in the context of what happened after.
Davies making an impact and winning a CL would be huge, but I'm kind of rooting for Lyon to beat PSG in a final as the best story-line.

Hundreds of millions on defenders over the past several years, and that's what they have to show for it. Injury to Laporte or not, it's crazy to think about. So much, and the formations don't show any value for it at all.
