Last Telus bundle package promo came to an end early Nov... wife (who pays that bill) didn't catch it but I somehow caught it now. With so much sh*t going on easy enough to do, plus have bunch of personal stuff. Anyhoo the bill went up from 115 to 155'ish. So after calls and talking nicely and giving our sob story they kindly gave us another 2 year promo deal... $91/mo now for basic cable, internet, home ph. With WFH & school-from-home (SFH?) really needed faster and more solid internet to help w/ video meetings.

I've been lifting weights 3-5 times a week since September and yesterday hit my deadlift personal best of 380 lbs, which is like actually approaching giant weight and puts me on track to hit my end of 2021 goal of 500 lbs.

Also, I've grown a moustache and if I lose maybe 10 more pounds, I will actually look like a gay pin-up model, which will genuinely make me very, very happy.

So... this imagery makes me wonder if you are you going to look like something in between Bruno and Borat...

The deadlift is impressive, even now. The stache... well I shouldn't say as I had one "bold" enough that my dear wife absolutely begged me to shave it... which I did... eventually.

Is there some obscure job/employment posting that requires you to lift 500lbs and have a prominently happy porn-stache? Besides correctional facility guard of course. Or pornhub/redtube "star"? (that of course assumes other criteria are met)

I just really have always had a goal of being tremendously strong and the 500lbs is just in my mind as the place where I achieve that benchmark.

With the moustache, I will just say that stubbornness has worked out in my favour and now my gal *trims* it for me. No idea how that happened.

I realized I can grow a mustache. I've never grown one before because I'm just not a hairy dude and my facial hair is patchy. I did the movember thing for the entire month giving time to grow in and it happened. It's kind of a pathetic, pencil like mustache but I did it.

A few years ago, I did Movember as well and I've on occasion been imagining what life would be like with a Fu manchu styled mustache and beard combo...

A number of years ago I did Movember and was genuinely surprised at how well I grew a mustache. Not the best lip tickler ever, but far better than I ever expected.

Beard on the other hand. I tried two years ago to grow out a bit of a beard.

It ... did not ... work.

To be on topic, what makes me happy? Only having to shave once every couple of days

I can grow an okay beard, but I can grow a superb moustache, so why not stick with your strengths?

Small bits of joy. After suffering with my bathroom fan exhaust flapping constantly every time it was windy outside, I finally decided to do something about it. When I took off the cover, it already had an easily accessible mechanism for adding weights to the backdraft flap. I strung a couple of heavy washers to it, and problem solved. I should have dealt with this sooner and I could have actually saved my sanity.

I'm happy to see that my neighbour has just cleared my sidewalk - and that of three other houses - with his snowblower!

I inherited a beast of a blower and I just did about 12 houses. The hardest part was actually locating the sidewalk; we got a consistent 16 inches with some areas drifting higher.

Now to just sit back and enjoy becoming an internet sensation for my good deed
