I'll take "things I never thought I'd see" for 100, Alex.

now, you might laugh - but in Turkey they are SERIOUSLY pissed about this. And, you know, that's never a good thing.

The Turks are a notoriously unfunny people. The black hole of humour is woven into the fabric of their culture.

Lighten up Turkey! Gobble Gobble!!

anyone watching the U21 Euros? England-France later today, should be a good one.

ENG: Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Tomori, Clarke-Salter, Dasilva; Choudhury, Foden; Gray, Maddison, Sessegnon; Solanke.
FRA: Bernardoni; Ballo-Touré, Upamecano, Konaté, Dagba; Tousart, Aouar; Ikoné, Reine-Adélaïde; Bamba, Dembélé.

Austria had a good start yesterday, winning 2-0 against Serbia. Sadly, one of our key players (Leipzig striker Hannes Wolf) suffered a broken leg though.

Are Argentina sandbagging the Copa America or something?

They left DiMaria, Aguero and Dybala on the bench so their starting XI was basically Messo, Otamendi and 9 randos.

Paraguay arent the greatest Guay but they're not a bunch of chumps either and they only earned a draw from a Messi penalty and a saved penalty.

And they sit bottom of their group, below Qatar, after 2 games played.

Lo celso, perarya and paredes is a very good midfield

Pezzela and otamendi is probly 2nd best CB pair in tournament

The lineup yesterday tho, de paul over di Maria is crazy town, even just move to a midfield 3 and put aguero or dybala in for de paul too

Martinez is a good player but hes their 4th best striker...

So I'd blame scaloni more than anyone else

The dybala thing is getting weird, happened in the world cup too, they bring him to tournaments and never play him

Him having only 20 caps at age 25 is crazy, when messi goes you could make an argument the team should be built around dybala and yet he never plays, and he could play up top or behind the strikers

Aguero and dybala not being regulars for argies is gonna be looked back on in 10 years with so much regret

On the level of England wasting the careers of being able to put out world class at both CB positions and LB, plus peak Wayne rooney, by focusing on fitting in gerrard and Lampard when paul effing scholes, and later Carrick to a lesser degree, were right there

19 minutes in the whole tournament for Dybala.

It’s ridiculous at this point.

Not starting Aguero for years made some sense cause at least Higuain is a decent striker, but not playing Dybala is just puzzling. But Brazil deserved it, both goals were really nice.

I dont know....just because the rest of his team are largely a bunch of bums doesnt really make his performance all that much better.

He seemed like he was playing well and was engaged, but Messi playing with a bunch of scrubs vs. Messi playing with Barcelona? Its pretty obvious that he cant do it all on his own, hes just not set up the same way.

Messi needs some quality around him to move the ball around and you saw that when he was connecting well with Aguero.

Messi on that Argentina squad yesterday looked like an off-brand, low-budget remake of 'A Weekend at Bernie's.' Messi was dragging Argentina's desiccated corpse all over the field.

But thats not going to win you anything. Thats Oilers.

Oh....and if I'm Dybala I'd be taking a dump in a box and mailing it to my coach.

"Never drag my ass all the way from Italy for this BS ever, ever again."

Gold Cup.

I kind of want to see Jamaica defeat the US.

Brazil only concedes one goal in the entire tournament and wins the Copa America! 12 years since Brazil’s last one, it’s nice to see some of the team veterans get rewarded after many disappointments. Jesus had an amazing knockout round by scoring a goal and assist in both semi finals and finals.
