The last we heard is that he was suspended from the contract. I don't remember reading any article at the time stating the contract was terminated.

I think the assumption is that Ryder is in breach, thereby allowing the other party to terminate. Flames should now sue for damages!! Troutman the resident legal mind.....any precedent for sueing a player after termination of a contract?

So fed up with the Ryder thing. He has fallen off the radar how many times now only to hold on by a hang nail at the last moment.

After 6 games with Providence he has no points, no pims and is a -2. Good riddance.

He's simply missed too much key development time. You can't take a year and half off in your key development years and recover.

I can't say I'm rooting for him though, as bitter as that sounds.
