You could define Star Wars as a kids movie too.

I don't see the connection? Is it because it's animated? Is that the difference in your head?

really? you dont see it?

well okay, the first clue is because it's animated, it's typically for kids.

second, it doesnt have dark adult comedy like family guy, south park or archer.

if you havent already figured it out from the first top two clues, then google the show. You'll find that it's a show featured as part of the Disney XD line up and I shouldnt even need to explain that's intended for kids

Okay. How does it differ from The Avengers? Aside from animation verses live action?

There's no difference

I still dont see what point you're trying to make. Despite the show is based on the movie, the show is clearly targetted for kids but yet somehow you dont see it. They've made toys based on both the show and the movie. Are the toys meant for adults too?

Not that there's anything wrong with adults enjoying Star Wars Rebels, I'm just drawing parallels to Bronies and My Little Pony.

The thing that is different with Bronies is that teenage and older men were most likely 100% never considered a target of My Little Pony. So the fact that they sprung up and gave themselves a name was out of left field.

Older people that were around for the original Star Wars movies happen to like this? Not a stretch for the average person to make at all.

Don't know if anyone else is watching this show, but as a Star Wars nut, I'm actually enjoying it, and it seems to be following a quicker path to darkness then the Clone Wars did and that show started off very light and almost kid centric.

Some Spoilers

Spoiler!

I am excited for this show to end up on Netflix.

The people in charge of the Star Wars animated Universe do an amazing job.

so I managed to catch the season ending final - Fire Across the Galaxy. And everything came together. There was a massive Empire Strikes back feel to this whole episode, but I'll go into that under the Spoiler tags. In terms of where this sits, probably one of the better epsidoes in the Animated Galaxy series that includes The Clone Wars. Of course, the whole Umbria Story Line in the Clone Wars was incredibly epic.

But this last episode really sets things up for season two.

Spoiler!

Thoughts for next year

I am still on the fence. Hera could be my favorite non Jedi character, and I am happy to see my favorite Jeri again but... what the hell happened with the redesign? The face already in an animation style is changed far too much and not in a passage of time way either as this would require an entire new bone structure.

It's also funny to see the people who had a hard on for killing said character are back again and I still say that it would be a bad idea from a story telling point and from a marketing and PR point.

And now for a completely random comment. Ezra's eyes are too blue it looks like he has been doing spice.
