Adidas being sued for their "authentic" "authentic pro" marketing.
As we all know what Adidas sells to the consumers as "authentic" jerseys are not the same ones provided to the players.

Once the players' jerseys are eyesores covered in advertising, that will become a feature.
Mind you, I don't see the point of spending several hundred bucks on a jersey that doesn't even resemble what the players wear. Colour me skeptical that the ad revenue makes up for the lost merchandise sales.

That's because I legitimately think they don't know the difference. Those who handle the game worn jersey auctions clearly know better.

I used to work at the FanAttic and I would say some of the employees knew the difference, some didn't. Maybe a 40/60 split.

I feel like that's worse because that means they are knowingly decieving customers.

All I can get

This is sort of what I'd like to see the Flames use for the Reverse Retro/50th Anniversary jersey.
The striping dimensions of the inaugural 1972-73 year Atlanta jersey, but with more of a metallic gold colour (sort of like what Buffalo did with theirs).

I've been at NFL games when employees didn't know the difference. Too bad. As a consumer like with anything else I guess it behooves one to be educated.
As for new jerseys I only really see myself being agreeable to the retros full time.
