Why does your licence plate say "OXUKR"?

That would be a little disturbing on its own.

The alignment of the Oilers plate would give me fits everytime I follow one of those morons.

If they ever have a white-C version, I'm going to need an Albertan BFF it looks like...

I've always been jealous of the TML/Sens/Jays/Raps fans here that all got their own sweet plate.

I wouldn't read too much into it, as I assume it's updated the next batch after a change. I was surprised to see Ontario was all updated, so I'm sure Alberta would be too.

Have yet to see an updated TML in the wild tough

I'm not sure how our red plate will look on a dark blue car either. Probably the only thing that might stop me from upgrading.
As cool and bold of a fan-statement a red plate is, the white plate does make this fandom donation a lot more palatable. However, I have heard people gripe about the $100 or so it costs to add 'just a Leafs logo' to the plate, so I guess it cuts both ways...

A white plate with a Calgary red/yellow/white header and logo would have been pretty slick still IMO.

I ordered mine this morning. The red and black plat isn't going to look overly cohesive with Long Beach Blue but I don't care.

Your M2 will be about as cohesive as our jerseys...

Through the registry office? I didn't even think about trying it via non-nefarious means. I just thought they'd tell me no.

About time. Just wish they had more options (Stamps/Esks, universities, parks etc.) instead of just the two NHL teams.

Spoiler!
Manitoba has a crap-tonne of specialty plates as well (scroll down): http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/world/CN_MANI.html

And this link presents a limited assortment, as there are also generic "support our troops", "Manitoba curling", "Manitoba soccer", "Manitoba Basketball", "paramedics", and "Brandon Wheat Kings" plates.

I'm not sure how much I like this broad-range, but I guess if people are willing to pay, it's a revenue stream, for the provinces and/or for charities...

Ha that's nothing. Montana has 292 different plates to choose from, including McGruff the Crime Dog, and Montana Quilters.

Registry place I went to downtown said 4-6 weeks.

Does anyone know how much it costs to swap a plate, get your registration updated and get new stickers?

I think it's in the range of $20-35 as I just did this a few years ago.
