The Cats have been waiting patiently to see where things would shake out to start the season. Getting Panarin helps out the first line significantly.

It's a big downgrade for us, but we did this for three reasons:

1) Panarin was sucking the life out of the Ducks. The team has been awful (for no apparent reason) since he joined

2) I've been asking Caged Great for Zegras for 5 months now, and finally found the right timing. I think he is about as Blue-chip a prospect as you can get.

3) apparently high OVR ratings do not determine success of a team, so I figured might as well downgrade, make next year a bit easier and add a few prospects.
