Sharks stay hot winning 4 in a row this time beating the best team in the West. It looked like it was a tight, evenly matched game so we are happy to get the 2 points. Still many games in hand teams just ahead of us and we will start leap frogging teams soon unless we go on a massive losing streak.

Haha...I predicted 19 shots and we took 18. Seems I give this team too much credit.

Since it's Christmas, here is our Naughty and Nice list from the game:

Nice List

• We snuck out the win with some great goaltending from Koskinen
• DeAngelo puts up 1g-1a in his debut
• Fiala puts up an assist with his new linemate Couturier
• Couturier has his best game in a while with Fiala contributing...hopefully that's a sign of things to come

Naughty List

• Panarin was awful for the Ducks and apparently rubbed off on McD who has been less than impressive
• Provorov and Werenski haven't contributed much offensive wise lately...hoping they saw DeAngelo's performance and are now inspired
• Team discipline - we took 9 penalties on the Kings - It seems we are at our gooniest against our rivals

Nine powerplays, including three in the third, where we managed one shot for the entire period. I made Eller the Captain before this game and apparently his wearing a onesie under his gear isn't the motivating factor that he thought it would be. It actually just weirds people out. I feel like it would have been a different outcome if the team hadn't stopped, you know, playing hockey.

Luckily, I only lose every single game to my own division, so I have that going for me, which is nice. Also, when I die, on my deathbed, I will receive total consciousness.
