Default Ads changing

Just FYI I made a few changes to test some ad changes.. I don't think everything's dialed in yet but I'm leaving the changes in place for now for testing, things may look weird or change over time as settings get changed.

Literally every time I click a new page on this site I get a massive banner ad that comes across the bottom of my screen that I have to exit out of before continuing. It's driving me absolutely crazy, lol. Hopefully it's pretty temporary?

The bottom ad is annoying but not terrible. The full screen ad that comes up occasionally is awful.

Disagree about the bottom ad, super frustrating. I haven't had the full across the screen yet.

The bottom ad shouldn't need to be dismissed before doing something else, I can click on threads and navigate and basically just ignore it, do you have to dismiss it before you can click on a link?

If so what browser?

I don't know what the final combination of ads will be, that's a Bingo question.

The full screen ads are straight out of the spotify playbook.

Chrome on windows. You can kind of ignore it, but it does overlay the bottom of the page. Sometimes you have to dismiss it to click a bottom button..

How much would a subscription cost to get rid of ads? I am in, whatever that is.

In addition to the large seemingly unskippable ad that takes up my whole screen requiring a page refresh to get rid of it, I’m also getting very large video ads on top and side that mess with the page size.

I personally approve these website breaking and experience ruining ads.

You wanted unobtrusive ads? Too bad. Now enjoy my version of a pop up ad on steroids.

I too love the new ads. I like then because they get me good and riled up before I even have a chance to wade into a thread and argue with strangers. More full page pop up ads I say as they enhance the user experience.

Ooh also one of these ads has sound or something because it kills any audio I have playing on my phone when I open the site too. Which is also good because it reminds me to take a break from the tunes.

Edit: also some new ad that takes up a third of the screen on the right hand side and compresses the rest of the site down. That’s pretty wizard too.

I'm not sure I understand the point. We already have ads on CP, do these ones pay a bunch more because of their intrusive nature?

Again this is just testing integration, I don't know what ads will be in the final rotation.
