Troubleshooting switches
I've had some really strange internet and IPTV issues last few weeks, is there a reliable way to troubleshoot a switch to see if it's the issue? I'm using 2 and one of them is a D Link which a previous TELUS installer said it was "making noise".

edit: Feel free to comment on the likelihood that my switch isn't to blame too btw
edit2: I just saw a website claim that network switches should be replaced every 5 years?
