Good on Milos for barking at the umpire because it should have been his point but he also kept his conposure to dominate that tie-break.

So is Milos too big to play?
I know he's worked on his foot speed and coming to the net shows that. His serve can only go so far.
Will he ever win a Major?

It's going to be tough with Novak amd Rafa still around for the next five years and now Tsitsipas has arrived on the scene.

Kei's tank is empty. He's got nothing for the Djoker.
This scoreline should be a bagel and a couple of breadsticks.

Going to be tough with that backhand to go all the way through to a final and win. He did get to a final once so it's possible.

Today's mens semi final will depend on how well Tsitsipas can handle Rafa's forehand. You know with a one handed backhand Nadal will be targeting it all match, like he used to do to Roger and Stanimal.

the blueprint for countering that is there, with Fed and Stan taking the ball early and ripping the one hander to beat Rafa on this court. also, Yogurt made a conscious effort to stay right on the baseline and move forward quickly at every chance against Fed. that should still be the plan, but lack of experience/fitness/emotional willpower be big roadblocks for his first major semi.

He needs to serve out of his mind to have a chance, and he needs to bat at least .750 on break point chances. Just to put the organizers on suicide watch, definitely rooting for a Tsitsipas/Pouille final.

lol - I think Pouille played the match of his life last night and won't be able to replicate it against Novak. A Joker - Yogourt or Joker - Rafa final would be fantastic.

Genie Bouchard won her opening round match at the tourney in Newport Beach yesterday. Katherine Sebov and Bianca Andreescu are in action today.

Katherine Sebov and Bianca Andreescu both won their matches at the tourney in Newport Beach today. On the men's side, Brayden Schnur and Filip Peliwo were victorious while Peter Polansky lost a tough three-setter.

What a ladies final we're going to have. For Petra, a comeback from an unspeakable situation. For Naomi, a chance to truly embrace a Slam win how she deserved it the first time. It'll be a special match.
