Super disappointing. I mean 3 goals in 10 minutes is pathetic. I think Sanchez is a liability, and we might as well try Rodon out there if Dier can’t play.

That last goal in particular was sheer luck. Pretty sure that Lanzini doesn’t make that again in 100 tries.

I left for 10 minutes and Spurs really Spurs'ed that up.

WTF happened?

Lazy coverage and a header to make it 3-1. Sanchez with an unnecessary, but perfectly placed header into his own goal. And an absolute laser as the final kick of the game from Lanzini, which was effectively unstoppable.

In between there (I think), Kane hits the post, Bale should have scored and was rugby tackled at the same time and Spurs basically sat back and got ready to play Uno or Fortnite or whatever they’re up to these days. Not exactly a great close for a team up 3-0, but not exactly shocking given our history. If anything, scoring in the first minute was more of a surprise.

Here's hoping Bale breaks his record from the last time Spurs signed him.

After a dismal weekend for Liverpool that was an enjoyable 10 minutes to watch.

Up the F’ing Villa. A decade of misery is making this run so so nice.

Villa's one of those teams I think most people could get behind if they go on a run (maybe unless you're a Wolves, Baggies or Birmingham City fan ha).

Also holy crap do the big 6 clubs sign, bench and waste a lot of talent, you see Loftus Cheek and Barkley actually get some playing time in a key role and... wow they are both very solid players.

There’s a lot for the casual fan to get behind with them if they do go on a run, local coach, local captain, founding member of the football league, cool name, enough of a following that it wouldn’t seem completely random to start cheering for them. I hope to be not the only one in the bar with a Villa shirt on by the end of the year (well just hope to be in the bar watching and not a home)

I honestly wish all the home grown and foreign player rules across all the major european leagues were more strict.

Won't ever happen because there is too much money in the sport now but I think it would make for more competition within the leagues and young players would have better development.

You see a very similar thing in Italy where the big teams buy up all the young italian talent, bench them for foreign talent, they don't develop, and then it hurts the national team.

We lost 1-0 to Man City.
We also got 3 points vs West Ham already this season, the team you blew a 3-0 lead to in 10 minutes.

Let's not pretend losing to City is worse than collapsing vs West Ham. Even a Spurs fan can't be silly enough to go there.
If you take more out of your 2 fixtures (West Ham & City), then you can come back here and trash talk me.

Lol, well thanks for setting the ground rules for when I’m allowed to trash talk you. I think I’m going to have a long run enjoying watching you guys fail to keep pace!
