I've never heard the phrase "partying like potatoes" before - I mean potatoes just kinda lie there and can be rather bland. I can see partying like a spicy pepper.

If Nick would have said "tanking sets", no problem with that statement as we have all seen players save energy and give a set to an opponent when they're down multiple breaks (no sense wasting energy).

After that match I would have bet everything I had that Fed was done and would never win another major. Credit to him for his 2017-2018 seasons.

Also this was the biggest moment in Canadian tennis until Bianca arriving last year. It's too bad Murray was so dialed in the finals

It really is a shame that injuries have derailed Milos as much as they have. Lest we forget, Milos was ranked as high as #3 in the world at one point.

A completely healthy Milos has to be considered a dark horse for the US Open this year especially if the Big 3 are absent.

Along those lines, the Washington tourney (Citi Open) is only 6 weeks away. We should be seeing an entry list in short order.

I can't not think of this whenever I hear Milos.

Normally today would be the Women's final at Wimbledon, what are some classic women's final matches you remember? Last year seeing Halep finally win Wimbledon and the level she got to was insane she absolutely blew Serena Williams off the court. There's also the Wimbledon final where Genie Bouchard played and unfortunately lost but watching for the first time a Canadian in a grand slam final was special.

It's funny, everybody remembers the 1980 Wimbledon men's final between Borg and McEnroe, but the women's final that same year was a great match between Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova. Those two ladies had quite the rivalry in the late 70's and throughout the 80's. Justine Henin and Serena Williams had some fine matches, Henin was one of the few players who could handle the power of Serena's game.

The 2013 Sabine Lisicki run was a lot of fun (particularly taking out Serena along the way...hmm seems to be a theme to the women’s matches I enjoy). I remember her atomic serve and how awesome it was on grass. The final itself was a rather uncomfortable blowout to Bartoli, but hers was a good story as well.

How does Martina Hingis win Wimbledon at 16 but then never win again, that's crazy.
