The flames love to show that video of Elliott standing a few feet from the wall speed catching tennis balls every couple of games, yet I'm not sure he's cleanly caught a puck all season!. Such a bad glove hand.

Yeah, it's like we murdered someone's dog or something. What did we do to play three one goal decisions, out-chance the opponent yet end up down 3-0?
Eff right off hockey gods.
This is the darkest timeline of hockey.

At 11:14 of the third period in the Ducks/Flames game, video review confirmed that Nate Thompson's stick was at or below the height of the crossbar when he deflected the puck into the Calgary net. According to Rule 38.4 (vi) "The determining factor is where the puck makes contact with the stick in relation to the crossbar. If the puck makes contact with the portion of the stick that is at or below the level of the crossbar and enters the goal, this goal shall be allowed". Good goal Anaheim.#

Everyone saying that Johnson should go for game 4, are you guys forgetting how shaky he was in his last few starts? I'd actually give Elliott game 4 and hope he has a bounce-back game. He had a bad night tonight, but between our two goaltenders he still gives us the best shot at winning. I'll bet he plays lights out next game.

Please Calgary, boycott game 4. Boycott the horrible reffing, the atrocious goaltending, and the worst choke job in franchise history. Do not give this team another effing dime. What a bunch of losers. Unbelievable.

So many flukey ass goals and bull#### all around.
Id like to see some more replays of the high stick goal that was allowed. Looked well above the crossbar. Pretty pathetic the NHL has like 2 cameras to review plays on. Watching the NFL and getting so many angles you think the NHL could get some more cameras.

NFL has money. NHL is broke

That was the worst Flames playoff goaltending performance since Trevor Kidd.

Elliott just launched himself out of town Hiller style. Doubt Johnson is back either.

I'm ready for my hockey watching season to be over with. It's going to be a sweep . Don't care now if they only win one or 2 from here on out.

My current nightmare is the Edmonton welfare Oilers winning several welfare Cups in their welfare rink with their welfare franchise player while the Flames f-off to Seattle in two seasons to a brand new 500m rink paid for with tax dollars where they will finally win a playoff game again.
It's almost certain to happen at this point.

honestly, i know i hate the negativity in the GDTs, but we're done...
no way this team comes back to win four in a row... can they win 2 and make it quasi respectable? sure...
but teams that can't close being up 4-1 don't win series when they are down 3-0

Now they Oilers will play a Ducks team, that won't have all the luck they had against us, and go to the western conf finals.

The actual answer should have been 'over the crossbar, no goal'

WOW
They could have just said it wasn't conclusive enough to overturn the call on the ice, but instead they flat out lie?
