Get ready for the Breastaurant
Apparently the Tilted Kilt is taking the space of Bob the Fish.

How awesome is the picture in the article of the big breasted lady serving a 70-year old couple?

Whatever, just so long as Bob the Fish is gone. What a waste of a good place for a bar.

I don't mind that place. Their pizzas are decent.
And it doesn't sound like the Tilted Kilt is really going to replace a bar. 'Mamary-centric Casual Dining'. Don't mind the first part, not crazy about the second part. Especially on 17th Ave.

Went to one of these in Orlando. Food was good and they had a great beer selection. Talent was pretty good too. Didn't realize it was a "breastaurant" until I walked in but I wasn't disappointed.
I'd definitely call it a pub, not "casual dining".

Isn't there a bikini bar already in Calgary? Or is that too far over the line to be a "Breastaurant"?
Joey restaurants could also maybe qualify.

Even some of the Moxies are getting there.
You shoulda seen the outfits for St. Patties Day!
Studio 82 used to be a bikini bar, I don't know what it is in it's current incarnation.
As well there was one downtown (at least) and one on 16th N. I can't think of any now. But yeah, I wouldn't really call those restaurants, or breasturants.

My buddy became the first and only male server at one Earls that only used to hire pretty young girls when the management decided that he was good at attracting Cougars to the restaurant to diversify their clientèle.

Hanby admits the company “had serious butterflies” about opening in Edmonton, but now expects the chain’s average annual per-location sales of US$2.7 million to be higher north of the border, in part because of higher prices.

Reminds me of that King of the Hill episode where Dale sues Hooters for sexual discrimination because they won't hire him.

Oh yes Studio 82, that place had some nasty chicks working there.... they had a room where the chick would dance privately for you and had a stripper pole in the main restaraunt that was used by Wanda the toothless wonder.

Haha, I never saw the private room, I think I was only in there twice. But yeah, a lot of the bikini bars had some questionable girls. I think the one on 16th was decent. But that was a LONG time ago.
Ever make it into the Gravity Lounge downtown? Shudder...
