Default Flames 4 Kings 2

Flames 4 Kings 2

- Flames match LA in the smothering defense style
- Backlund line has a goal from all three members
- Dryden Hunt is growing on me!

Agree with you on Mangiapane, one of the last forwards I want to see dealt. He plays on the team’s best line, is an important part of said line, and his two linemates are getting a little long in the tooth. Keep this guy.

Pachal is a solid find. So was Greer. Remember the days of trading good picks for depth players like Bollig and Lazar? Or signing depth players to contracts with term?

Love how Conroy is doing things. It sounds cruel, but you can’t fall in love with these guys either. Take it a year at a time.

I certainly do as it was a major problem with the last GM. Pretty happy so far with Conroy's work in his first season as GM. It's refreshing to see the team acquire depth on the cheap rather than giving up good draft picks for bottom line players.

I prefer his sibling Sowetinthek who plays in the Finish Liiga. But I'm quickly learning that Dryden Hunt is better than no Hunt at all.

Predators moving the bar up ... Need 94 points to get in now. Calgary would have to go 14-6-3 for a .674 record to make it.

Flames gain 4%, and now sit at 24%.

Site has LA as the new target.

I thoght Kadri had a tough night. Lots of giveaways, gets nailed by a puck and generally not as affective as usual.
