Canucks are fighting for their playoffs lives. Of course theyre gonna chip and jab and prod to get under the skin of the Flames. There's no easy games even now. Teams are out for pride or their playoff lives and they gonna come at you. Especially since the Flames are the bar right now in the west.
They were greasy tonight for sure. But I'd be pissed if I was a nucks fan if they just tuck tailed and rolled over. Plus, say they do get in, then who's their 1st round match up? Us. Of course they'd try and tenderize their playoff opponent a bit since this was their last chance to do so.
Flames really need to sit some guys soon. Dont know what the magic # is for locking up the #1 seed but it needs to happen soon.

Solid game by the team IMO. the Canucks played line one hard but that's all they could do. Smith was solid and still has detractors about his style or his supposed dive (it wasn't).

Pretty great game overall by the Flames.
2nd and 4th lines were awesome. 1st and 3rd not so much, but meh, whatever. We're a deep team. If you happen to shut down one of our lines, the other ones will just pick up the slack.
Smith was terrific. Made some pretty big stops when the score was 1-0 and 2-1 to help maintain our lead.
Just give Gio the damn Norris already.
