If Jagr comes back to Calgary and leads this team deep into the playoffs, that'd be an incredible ####ing story.

The only team Jagr is capable of leading deep in the playoffs would be Kladno.

For those of you that gave me grief over my post (#145 this thread)
Hate to be the guy who says I told you so but it was painfully obvious. Literally spelled out by those in the know.

Check post #314
The first time anyone officially broke an actual departure from the team and yet they end it with an indication that he'll be back.
He will be back and he will be a top 6 forward when he returns.

JJ informed today closer info about his injury. He had 2months water in his knee and when he continue to play he started to have also problem with his leg muscle so he could not use the leg the way he was used to it....@CruisingRay @68isgr8 @cgytradecentral

For sure. Take your cue from the Czech news reports instead of the media release issued by your own GM which speaks of Jagr in the past tense and thanks him for his contributions to the Flames. Treliving doesn't put it that way if he thinks there is ANY chance Jagr is returning.

That could just be a way to quell any added expectations to Jagr. Fans are rabid to see him back in Calgary and if Tre tips his hand that Jags may make a return, it'll just be constant questions about his status until he's ready.

You - and some others - have obviously screened out all obvious signs his days here are over. For sure his distraction will be missed. Fans have quickly moved back onto the fire the coaches and arena fiasco trains around here.

Igor Eronko@IgorEronko
So 3 assists for Jagr and 2 (1+1) pts for Nedved in that game won by Kladno 7:2
Igor Eronko@IgorEronko
Jagr played more than 20 minutes (is knee OK?), Nedved almost 24 minutes

I think I read somewhere he came back just to play this one game against his buddy. Pretty solid numbers for him, 24 minutes is a lot.
Edit: the same twitter feed mentioned it.
