Now if you want an ice cream, you go to dairy queen. Or you go to a grocery store and buy a box, or go to a convienience store and grab something from the freezer.

But there was something kind of mystical about going and looking at flavors and really great about going on a 30 degree day and standing in a chilled store.
Marble Slab is pretty good for a chain and they are everywhere. As good as any place that just bought rather than made their own ice cream.

Casa Gelato on Venables has 200 flavours made on premises
La Casa was much better when I was a kid. You could go in there, sample all the flavours you wanted, and then pick out the one for your cone. The owners were always happy to see you. I think they only had around 50 flavours or so when my dad brought me there the first time. Now it has 200 flavours, you have a limit of 3 samples, and they are more focused on volume.

There are many reasons I don't go there anymore, with the primary two being that it's out of my way with its location, and my inlaws recently opened a nitrogen ice cream store on Main.

It would appear someone wearing a jersey resembling the Minnesota Northstars is using portals to suck something out of their own ass. Fettuccine maybe?

I think its a rather daring and ambitious piece that somewhat accurately portrays the struggles of man's battle against his darker instincts during the 17th century British Industrial Revolution.

This game was good:

Even better, my dad passed down his table hockey game when he was a child (1950s):
