2 classics for inclusion

Tetris

I think this game could be in contention for the most popular electronic game ever.

Arkanoid

Spawned so many variants, but Arkanoid was a staple during computer class in the 80s

Rescue: The Embassy Mission
Not a top 10, but just a bit of nostalgia from my end. The original Rainbow 6

Just wanted to thank Cap for that abandonware link. That just ruined the next 6 months for me and I'm jazzed to play some GTA2.

Loved Earl Weaver Baseball. Pioneered many features of deep simulations to come. Great for baseball strategy junkies.

Loved Earl Weaver baseball and Wayne Gretzky hockey. Played those on the Tandy 1000 hx. One of the most ridiculous things I was proud of was when I was young was cracking the Earl Weaver security code. Earl Weaver baseball came with baseball shaped security code that you had to turn about 3 times to reveal a security code in order for game to load. I was giving a copy to my cousin and took apart the wheel and copied every single combination (I think it was stadium, row, and then seat) so they could play. It seemed like 1000’s of numbers on several pages. Seems silly now.

Also loved Lode Runner and Impossible Mission on Commodore 64.

Holy crap does California games ever bring back memories.

I played it in the late 90s, but it felt new and awesome to me.
