It will never hit the water with a Dutch toilet

Spoiler!

Ah yes. The shelf allows proper inspection of your work before you flush it down with 2 meters of hydrostatic pressure.

Also you don't miss out on any of the smell, no submerged turds in the Netherlands.

I thought this was a German thing actually? Every deuce I've ever taken in Der Deutschland sat on a shelf.

I heard they like to inspect their #### before flushing as a health gauge of some sort.

When I went to Europe, I must have only gone to places that were properly Americanized because I don't remember any poop shelves in Germany or The Netherlands.

Was thinking about Sliver’s earlier dental situation and started pondering this question:

Brush -> Floss -> Mouthwash

or

Floss -> Brush -> Mouthwash

Personally, I think Floss > Brush > Mouthwash makes the most sense. Otherwise your toothbrush isn't getting to spaces in between your teeth where the food you've not yet flossed out of there is residing.

Random thought that led to google and then couldn’t find the answer so I am sharing/asking or help:
On the cartoon American Dad the father tells the kid about obstacles and brings up Helen Keller as the deaf, dumb and blind girl that overcame being locked in an attic during the war and wrote a whole diary about it. (2009 Season 5 Episode 8 Timestamp 3:11)
But I remember the same topic joke being told by Randall to Dante in Clerks II (2006)

How many other movies use this joke?

I know the joke from Clerks II originated from one of the earliest Smodcast episodes where stoned Kevin got mixed up and hilarity ensued. Beyond that, I’m not familiar with any other jokes on the subject.

Not unless family guy making an Anne frank joke counts. The one where Peter is eating chips while the nazis search for them.

So Seth McFarlane stole it from Kevin!!! ?????

If it’s straight Anne Frank and no Helen Keller it’s not the same joke.

I spent a couple weeks in the Netherlands and Germany around 2010, most of the businesses had regular toilets however most of the homes (especially in the Netherlands) I visited had the deuce deck.

It was pretty damn weird, I could go into further detail, but let's just say if you dump with any amount of force or dehydration you're in for a bad time.

I like to sit inside the toilet seat instead of on it.

Does anyone else like to put themselves through mental tests of restraint by not scratching an itch? I sometimes will get an itch around my nose and I will see if I can go long enough without scratching for it to go away on it's own.

Your body accepts that challenge. Try holding your poop indefinitely.

Your body is in charge.

OMG that's psycho. Never even considered doing that and I hope to god you didn't plant some awful seed in my head that'll make me start doing this. I'll drive myself insane.

Do you look in the mirror first to make sure it isn't an ant or something crawling on your face?

Or do you just spend that time wondering if it is a bug whether it will crawl into your nose and lay its eggs?
