Man. Looking at some Iggy pics when he was on other teams like the Pens and Avs(both especially). He looks so damn weird in those uniforms. He belongs in Flames red.

Blech, I don't like cats.
Back to when there was a semi-serious Iggy conversation, I think the room/chemistry problems are likely minimal, but it is fair to speculate on that issue, as it is a pretty rare case of former captain and first ballot hall of famer to return to a team looking to be a contender.
My speculation is that the current leadership would welcome him with open arms, if they think he can actually improve the team. I am not so certain he will, given the speed of the game and GG's system. He needs to play this system, not Daryl's.
I just don't see the fit. Not a first liner anymore, and it seems ridiculous that we would bring him back for "toughness". Likely more of a mentor/powerplay specialist like Versteeg. We already have Versteeg.
