THAT’s the way to start the series! Siakam was huge and Kawhi was his calm, solid, defensively elite self.

Wow

Don't really watch basketball usually but it's fun bandwagoning this team. Reminds me of 91/92.

Weird to say that a game 1 is a must win, but it kinda was given who the other team is. That's a big statement. Great team win.

For game 2, gotta figure out a way to limit the foul trouble. In a closer game that would have come back to bite them. I dunno how you do it though, when they get so many calls (deserved and otherwise).

Winning game 1 is a big deal. They at least got a puncher's chance this series.

Team that wins game 1 wins 71% of the time. Not a guarantee but it can’t hurt.

wow... i thought the raptors had a chance to surprise in game 1, but i didn't think the game would go the way it did... the Raps looked in control the entire game for the most part.

amazing!

If Igoudala is injured and Durant can't come back, the series is over!

Siakam did to Golden State what Antentokounmpo does to teams. They had no way to stop him from going to the rim. GS interior defense doesn't seem close to what Milwaukee had. Raps can go inside way more efficiently this series.

Pretty solid all around game for the Raptors. This will be a good series if the Raptors get this kind of contribution from all their guys.

If they have no answer for Siakam all series AND Kawhi really takes control we could legitimately win this thing.

Man bandwagons are the best. That was fun! None of this watching a team all year just to be constantly let down over and over stuff. Just get to the good part and enjoy sports for once!

In other news, good on the NHL for taking a week off so the whole nation could switch sports. Everyone I've talked to that follows sports is all in on basketball at the moment. And to be honest, the more I've watched the more I understand and the more I understand the more I've appreciated the sport. NHWho?

Brilliant first punch from Toronto. Kerr's a great coach and I full expect lots of adjustments to get Curry free from FVV.

I think I said before here, there's no way you're going to rattle GSW. They've seen everything. But at the same time, if you're in Toronto's position, you just want your guys to get comfortable in this series, let them feel like they belong and they have a shot, and that's the big advantage to home court for Toronto. I loved the crowd chanting Danny's name after he hit that first 3. Just like they cheered for Kyle when he hit that first free-throw after going scoreless in the first game against Orlando.

Sportsnet interviewed Leonard first. I think Sportsnet/TSN get to pick first as they are the host telecast for the games in Toronto.

Well considering the game just wrapped up (relatively) and people are still filtering out of the ACC, not really surprising at all...
