I don't know if the Flames organization will actually go full retro. Knowing how they respond to fans they won't do it. I really want them to, it would be so sick if we did. Imagine winning the cup in those beauts.

I'd prefer this to have a red Flaming C (without the white outline) and red numbers. Name on back would stay white.

Also, I would remove the shoulder patches and just go black. Or, black them out like the hurricanes did with their new shoulder patches.

Thank you. After seeing them side by side like that the newest version is my favourite. I'll be buying one for sure as I didn't buy the Reebok edge one.
Really happy with the way the collar turned out. A sutble nuance but a lot better look than then rhe V look.

But I just don't get why they'd make a big deal about honoring the 89 jersey but not go the whole way and have the stripes right at the bottom.

I just remembered this moments ago...but I'm surprised that adidas doesn't really give enough justice to the collars that the only times they actually exerted effort on designing the collars were the ff. (see picture below):
L-R: Team USA (2016 World Cup of Hockey), Ottawa Senators (2017 NHL 100 Classic)
I thought - maybe Matty Merrill and company should have made the collar of our thirds pop up, something like:

I popped in to the North Hill Fan Attic and took a look at the new retros.
The crested ones look nice but not for $300. Its got the speed holes shoulder and a meshing underneath the armpit.
Material can't compare to the 89 vintage or the CCM retro from the 30th anniversary season. Although it feels slightly nicer than the Reebok retros.
