Default January 27, just two games.

Wednesday Night Hockey has no sexy games. Both match ups are in the second game of their respective mini series.

NHL schedule was so ridiculous this week.

11 Games Sunday

1 Game Monday

14 Games Tuesday

2 Games Wednesday

14 Games Thursday

1 Game Friday

Like how does that make any sense in any type of way.

Its stupid. Jets played the opener vs the flames, 3 days off, 6 games in 9 nights, then 3 nights off before 4 in 7 games.

That being said I am loving all this hockey. I dont know how I would handle month 3 of this lockdown without sports.

I kind of understand why the North division has wonky breaks for teams. There are only 7 teams in the division and if you are playing a “series” type format where teams play 2-3 games back to back against each other then you’re always going to have one team sitting for 3/4 days.

But still no excuse for this type of imbalance in the scheduling day to day though in terms of games per night.

In other news, the Canucks just gave up 24 shots in one period to the Ottawa Senators... who, until they played the Canucks, were averaging 26.8 shots per whole game. That ties a Senators franchise record for most shots in a period.

Just in case you thought the Flames first period last night was as bad as a team can play.

Except for Sunday, this is close to typical for NHL schedules in normal times. They coordinate with the NBA to have alternate weekdays.

Shot differential was worse than Calgary’s first period yesterday.

I have no idea how Miller got away with a blatant hook on Riley.

Except for Chabot, it looks like Ottawa's entire defensive core are in their late 50s.

Vancouver had a brutal goal differential coming into this stretch before playing Ottawa. After tomorrows game , they'll be back in the +

I won a GPP on draftkings today cuz I rostered Tyler Motte and had the right combo's to go with that. I'm very excited about that.
