Flames played well, but not generating enough at even strength still.
That being said, bad luck on all 3 goals against.
Monahan getting called for a one handed slash that causes Bogosian's already broken stick to explode, then Gio getting tackled and having his stick slashed into pieces to take away a possible goal with no call... baffling.

Just bad luck but CGY has to execute better. Come out hungry next game. Need a lot of guys to get keyed in because there was a lot of giveaways and mishandles.
The speed of play was not there today. Next time.

This L doesn’t bother me much. Pretty even game, both teams had their chances, both goaltenders good (Markstrom the better one despite the score). Team continues to get gut-punched by unlucky bounces. Oh well, can’t win them all.

Way too sloppy. Turnovers, passing not good enough. And these jerseys!
Looked ok in two wins against the lowly Canucks.......no real read on the team yet for me.
Hopefully just rust after a long lay-off. But that 4th line playing the way they did doesn't help.

Two unlucky bounces ended up being the difference.
Overall was pretty even at 5v5.
Flames led in Corsi (48-36), scoring chances (26-20) and tied high danger chances (12-12)
Biggest issue remains the 4th line, Lucic and Nordstrom can’t be dressed together.
