After yet another loss
McDavid - "Well that was a failure, get you're rest Leon, tomorrow is another day"
Leon - "Gee Brain, what are we doing tomorrow night?"
McDavid - "What we do every night Pinky, try to lose another hockey game"
Leon - "Yoinks"

Mcjesus so far. 12 points, plus 1. I think that says just about everything we've all known forever.

When Jesse Puljujarvi went back to Karpat in 2018, he was given a dressing-room seat next to 34-year-old Shaun Heshka of Melville, Sask. (Before Puljujarvi returned to Edmonton this year, he was sandwiched between two Canadians, Heshka and 30-year-old Cody Kunyk of Sherwood Park, Alta.) When Oilers coach Dave Tippett said last week Puljujarvi was being promoted to the top line, Heshka re-tweeted the news on his Twitter timeline.
“We watch the games,” Heshka said Tuesday. “I couldn’t think any more highly of him — people here are rooting for him. Our job was to talk to him in English as much as possible, build his confidence, get his love for the game back. We felt we did that here, and it’s great to see him doing well.”
What do you remember about Puljujarvi when he came back to Karpat?
“He looked like he needed a hug,” Heshka answered. “He went there with a picture of how things were supposed to work, and (they) didn’t work out that way. For him, it’s not about money. He wanted to play because he loves playing, and we told him, ‘This is your team and we’ll all trail behind you.’”
|
Now that Puljujube is hugged up he’s ready to dominate according to Oiler fan.

I was so pissed when they drafted Pulurpuddy. Not as pissed as when they won the draft lottery to get McJesus, but I really liked him. Delighted he hasn't worked out so far.

When Columbus drafted Dubois I was so happy because I knew Edmonton would draft Pulurpuddy and not Tkachuk. And when Vancouver drafted Juolevi I literally jumped up in pure joy, because Tkachuk just miraculously dropped on our laps.

Apparently Tkachuk was never on the Oilers or Canucks radar according to Friedman. If Puljuju-shubado wasn’t there the Oilers would have selected Sergachev, and when Dubois dropped, the Canucks would have traded their pick to the Canadians for PK Subban.
This is kind of like how the Oilers defence of trading the Barzal pick was leaking to morons like Staples how they wouldn’t have selected him with that pick anyways.
Remember those 5 days between June 25-29 2016 when the Oilers has a new high pick & Taylor Hall... then farted both away with terrible asset management.

I was mad because not being one to really follow prospects I bought into the hype he was the better player and thought Columbus gifted him to the Oilers.
I was cursing Columbus and was sure Vancouver was going to make it worse and take Tkachuk who I wanted the Flames to take so bad after seeing him in the Memorial Cup and then live at the Prospects Game in Vancouver along with Dube who I didn't even realize played in it until I was looking at photos of it on Facebook years later.
When Vancouver didn't take him I was pretty pumped and wasn't so mad anymore because I realized there was a good chance the Oilers would ruin PoolParty.

Oh I didn't know that, I thought I heard it somewhere that they told Tkachuk they are going to pick him and when Pwhatever drop to them they pick him instead. And that's why Tkachuk was pissed at the Oilers. I couldn't recall where I heard that, it could be in my dream.

I'm not buying that story about Tkachuk...not that it matters
There is a video out there of the Canucks draft party chanting Tkachuk's name...and the "what the #### Benning" gold
