Anyone know why they sang the Canadian anthem in Buffalo for the Isles/Sabres? Is it because they have Canadian fans?

I believe Buffalo always does O Canada. Must be a proximity thing as they're basically Canadian.

The Bruins strike back with three goals in four minutes. 3-1 Boston after twenty minutes. Bergeron and Marchand already have two points each.

The Stars have a 1-0 lead after twenty minutes.

Coyotes take a 3-2 lead over Vegas with about 10 minutes left.

So the Wild crapped the bed royally against the Flyers, which keeps Oilers 6 points out. Will it be close enough for Gretzky to attempt a stupid trade once the deadline comes around? Probably not, but we could always hope.

What is going on with the Blues? They've been on a good streak of late and seem to have found their game at the right time of the season. The same goes for Tarasenko.

Blues are the kind of team that would actually make a first round matchup against a team like LV not the worst outcome.

They are being carried by Jordan Binnington 10-1-1 1.82GAA 0.927 SV% 2SO, a 25 yo Rookie that the league doesn't seem to have a complete scouting report on yet.

I can't find the GIF but Giroux scored on a slapshot on essentially a break away. I love when that happens.

Big win for the Coyotes as Darcy Kuemper makes 41 saves in the 5-2 win over the Knights. The victory puts the Coyotes 4 points back of the 8th place Wild.

The Wild are in a mini slump since the all star break going 1-4-2. They lost to the Flyers 5-4 in reg time. Minnesota had a 3-1 lead after the 1st period. The Flyers came back and eventually Van Riemsdyk scored the winner on the PP with 4.5 minutes left in the 3rd period. He had 2 goals along with his teammates, Gostisbehere and Giroux each getting 2 points. The Flyers coach knows when to use his back up. Stolarz was in net for the win and faced 39 shots.

The Sabres and Hurricanes stay close to a playoff spot in the tight eastern conf. race. Eichel had 2 assists as Buffalo beat the Islanders 3-1. Carolina was down 1-0 in the 1st period and woke up in the 3rd period scoring 4 goals to win 4-1. The shots were 15-5 for the Hurricanes in the final period. Ferland had 3 points and McElhinney was in net for the win making 25 saves.

The BJs seem to have revenge every time they play the Capitals this season. They beat the Caps 3-0. Bobrovsky with the 20 save SHUTOUT. Columbus is only 5-6 points back of 2nd place in the eastern conf.

The Stars win 3-0 on the road against the Panthers. Khudobin with the 30 save SHUTOUT and Seguin had 3 points. The Stars are 6 points clear of the 9th place Canucks.
