It is the solo game from the Big Apple at MSG that is nationally televised in both Canada and the United States, Centre Ice is not required. The Hurricanes are 3 points back of the Penguins and BJs, the last 2 playoff spots in the eastern conference.

Well, the Hurricanes are part of the eastern playoff race. They're now 1 point back of the Penguins and BJs. Mrazek makes 27 saves for the SHUTOUT. Lundqvist wore a replica mask of Mike Richter and made 30 saves in the loss as Carolina scored 2 empty net goals.
