I agree with Jiri

Many of the reporters are with the Athletic because the traditional model of newspapers was no longer economical. I like (most) the reporters at the Athletic. I support the firewall and having to pay to get the content.

We should respect that.

Additionally...

I subscribed last Fall during one of those "50% off: blitzes. Completely thrilled with the decision. The Flames content alone is worth the cost. And I routinely check out other general articles from many other sports.

Highly recommend it for anyone thinking of subscribing!

I also just subscribed based on the recommendation from a poster here. Content is awesome. Worth the $35 annual cost for sure IMO.
