With no picks in the first 3 rounds we go with a goon ? I expected high risk/reward picks.

Do you just type crap for fun? 100% you have not seen this kid play for 1sec and have no idea what you’re talking about. As per usual though.

I like how Sportsnet is seemingly refusing to even mention the Flames picks and even went to commercial while the Flames were picking. >_<

I mean, for a guy that apparently gets ejected all the time his stats are actually pretty good.
Played several years here in Salzburg too. Know absolutely nothing about him though.

253 PIM works out to 5.16 PIM / game. For a guy to still put up some semblance of points while spending so much time ejected/ in the box as it least somewhat encouraging.
If nothing else, he'll be a shirt disturber in the preseason rookie games.

I deliver goods up and down the St. Lawrence River. It's a noble profession. And at times I get to see a hockey game here and there.

His PIMs and points indicate he’s a talented psychopath...I don’t mind a little crazy.

Martin Pospisil #24 (F, L, Team West, Sioux City Musketeers, late 1999)-Martin didn’t jump out at us here, He has nice size and great strength, moved well to the front of the net and looked willing to mix it up in tough areas. Has a hard shot. Took a bad penalty and missed most of the third period. Player to watch as the Slovakian has upside as a power forward with jam and grit. College: St. Lawrence Grade: B-

The Flames drafted themselves a fire cracker that's for sure. It seems that he does a good job when he's on the ice.
The interesting thing to see with him is will he be able to not do boneheaded things that send him to the box.
Sort of like combining the Ruzicka and Fischer picks from last season.

Was hoping Tkachuk would slide to this pick, but this guy was definitely #2 on my list!

Good. Aside from Tkachuk our team is too ‘nice’.
