I burned a hockey stick to the heavens last night (I'm Asian, that's what we do) :P
I also left another one on the front steps.

Broadcaster Tyler Bieber is first Humboldt victim to be laid to rest. He loved the New England Patriots. The Pats sent flowers & Robert Kraft called Tyler's mom to offer condolences.

as an aside, I was comfortable with the decision made by the SJHL to play the final series. the league was going to wrong with whatever decision was made, and the first game will likely be hard - but I am sure the boys would have wanted the series to be played and life must go on

Seeing lots of jerseys downtown today!
Pretty standard Flames, Oilers, Team Canada.
Best so far has been an older Melville Millionaires jersey which was way too big for the girl who had it on. Likely her dad's, her uncles, older brother, cousin...
Reminded me of the reach of this tragedy. Everyone can relate to those who lost their lives which is why it has gotten the support it has.

Jack Carter Chev donating $250 per stick dropped off at their location. Last I heard they are over 400 sticks.
Sticks will be donated to KidSport Calgary and Comrie's Sports Bank.

Tons of jerseys at my office today. Someone put an Oilers jersey on my chair. Used tongs to remove it and cleaned my hands and chair with disinfectant

I’m riding a bus with my 11 year old on way to a field trip. Hard to not think about Broncos.

I'd say 90% of my office here has a jersey of some sort on. I think we're close to 115 people give or take so I'd call that a pretty good turn out, someone also left a load of stick's at our front office door's which was a nice touch.

Went with my horsehead Conroy jersey today. Haven't worn it for years but figured this was a special occasion.

I went with the Stamps jersey today. I thought I would wear one from a Calgary team that actually makes the playoffs.

I was the only one I could see at the airport with a jersey (I wore my retro) except for a guy on the park and jet with me wearing a hockey Canada. There was a guy with an Oilers cap but who knows what that meant.
