Krahn definitely has an infectious personality, at the Flames Poker tourney a few years ago, him and Ron Stern introduced me to everyone, while roasting them as much as they could.

Then Krahn lost his jersey (in the game) and he had no shirt underneath. Everyone just laughing until Warrener gave him his jersey, which looked like it was basically painted on!

It was definitely the highlight of the night. Lol

I agree with a poster above, all three guys (Commie, Sarchie, Krahn) have nice voices for radio. The worst radio voice of the bunch is Nault lol, funny enough.

I wasn't aware we were arguing about the merits of the commercial. I was only pointing out that it's a crappy commercial. I hated those Conservative ones, and I hate this one too.

Was a direct reply to a comment about a commercial with an opinion. It's a discussion forum, obviously mattered enough to you to reply

Khran is the best. Has really grown on me. They have to keep him around in some capacity.

Anybody else having problems with the podcast this AM? Has a repeating 5 second clip of a Talbot save over the entire broadcast?

Like, full volume?

Now I’m trying to listen live via Tune in, but it appears the fire alarm is going off.

Lol

If you didn’t hear the Boomer Krahn ball hockey discussion from the Thurs podcast do yourself a favor and go listen.

It’s probably the best thing they’ve ever done.

Latter half of the podcast.

That was awesome. Brought back many memories for sure. Great segment.

Every time I hear Krahn laugh it’s surreal as it sounds so much like how John Candy would chuckle.

Stajan just told a hilarious story about Hartley and how he treated the 3rd/4th liners. Man I’d love to hear more behind the scenes stuff from his time here.

Not going to be popular here but they are discussing now that Lucic should be spending games in the pressbox down the stretch. I tend to agree.

So one season Matty gets hurt and Bob tells him he has to run the full stairs with Cloutiet the Asst Coach who’s pushing 60.

He described how Cloutier was slow as molasses. Said he could run the whole dome 3-4 times in the time it took them to do it following Cloutier.

To make matters worse it happened during the Avs morning skate or practice so Iggy and Sarich were out there. He described how embarrassing and pissed he was as a 10 year vet and he’s out there running stairs with a senior citizen looking like a total goof.

Said it makes for a funny story now but it wasn’t funny at the time.

Worth a listen on the podcast. Krahn also told some funny stories about him and his buddy Kip.

The third line had a bad game against Boston. It’s not all because of Lucic, Ryan was particularly slow and ineffective. He is a 4th line centre and Sam Bennett needs to be put back up there between Lucic and Dube.
