Yeah -- the best skills to get early on, IMO, are the Spidey Sense helpers. One automatically shoots a web at a guy's face when you do a perfect dodge (stunning him for a good amount of time), the other extends the window for the perfect dodge (and it's a significant increase, it goes from pretty difficult to almost every time you dodge you can get it). Those two together give you a lot more time to react and play defensively.
Recently I've unlocked the 'Spider-Bots', and the Spider-Bot suit power. So when things start getting hairy with a big group of enemies I just drop two or three drones that whizz around and taser guys. I wish there was a 'quick select' on the gadgets instead of having to pull the wheel out every time though, I find myself cycling between them regularly.
Or not using them whatsoever. I like it so far, it’s a lot of fun but I do find the combat repetitive. Even mixing in swings, jumps, grabs, it all kind of feels the same. Wish there was better combos than just hitting square four times or multi takedowns to incorporate. I end up using all my focus to heal instead of one shot guys anyway, when most guys goes down with a single combo I don’t see the point of wasting a takedown on them.
It's not bad but just doesn't pull me in, seems to have the same problem as Battlefield 1 where it just doesn't grab hold of you. It seems immersive and hectic yet somehow very, very bland
So gave it more of a chance on the weekend and I take it back. Although I wish it captured the feel of older Battlefield games, it does seem way more refined than BF1. BF1 just kinda lacked character and soul for me but 5 plays so much better
You mean it's a remaster that you never asked for. A number of people elsewhere are pretty happy about it.
You know what I meant. Just because there’s a couple people excited about it in Twitter comments doesn’t mean there was high demand for it overall. You can find people online excited for every dumb thing that gets announced.
But we still don't have an upgraded Mass Effect trilogy.
The really weird thing about this is that it's a chance for EA to basically print money for free. I wonder if they're waiting for next gen to do it, and bundle it so it'll sell a bunch of consoles as well.
Obviously it's also a chance for them to release a bit of extra content and fix the ending but... it's EA. The "print money" thing is reasons 1, 2, 3 etc etc that it has to happen eventually.

Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 base game owners are in for a treat this week, as EA has begun giveaways for both shooter titles' massive season passes (known as Premium). While the publisher has slowly given away all of the DLC packs in recent months, this is a great opportunity to grab the full packages in one go for those who missed out on one.

UPDATE: Battlefield 1 Premium Pass has now also gone free for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners.

Love Spiderman prob have 10 hours into it. Has a very Batman like feel to it, so it was pretty familiar, love just swinging around New York though. Some of his lines had me laughing out loud. Spider-Cop
