That's alright. He's good, probably the jitters. If that was the first play of the game I'd be super concerned but Gausman got the first out so all good.

Great start for Gausman - should have been an 8 pitch inning though

No damage but a 20 pitch inning, Mariners taking lots of pitches.

Yeah, that's definitely a concern. Jays have to be the same.

I know that slider is nasty. But that was 3 swings and misses out of the zone. If that's going to be the case it's going to be a loooonnnnggg day.

C’mon Springer, three swinging strikes to start the game is not ideal

Make that 5 straight before Bo fouled one off

Team is too amped up at the plate and need to be more patient. Almost feel like being on the road might have been better for them

Someone tell the Blue Jays they're not required to swing at everything.

Vladdy if he wants to walk you, take the walk. Don't need to swing at balls out of the zone.

At least Vladdy worked it to a full count.

Don’t blame him for chasing that last pitch up, had good movement on it

Ray has a good slider, ok. But Springer swinging at anything like it's his first playoff game is silly.
