Chara just lost his mind going after Lazar along the boards after a clean hit attempt by Lazar (IMO). Chara then spent 15 seconds roughing him up while knocking him down with his head dangerously against the boards.

Sheahan scored while Washington was down a defenceman.



Good for Lazar helping cause a goal, but that's a scary confrontation to get into.

My most hated team playing against my 3rd most hated team.

Really makes it clear how much I hate the Oilers.

I think it's obviously so. Tippett's hockey is pretty awful, but he clearly recognises that this is the only chance for an unskilled, grind team like the Oilers to win. They are trying damn hard to put the Maple Leafs to sleep.

What was Koskanen doing sliding to one side when it was a shot from dead centre. Most nhl goalies would have that one.

Nice play by Draisaitl flopping around at the point on that goal. Interesting he is getting shorthanded time. Yeah he got the goal but I'm not sure the occasional shorty will make up for the lack of defensive awareness.
