Nurse decides to go for the fancy 1 on 4 rush rather than go for the change and end his 2-minute shift. Then gets stuck out there.

Just braindead

Willing to bet there's no "room culture" in Edmonton.

It's the hart bros muttering the odd word but not loudly enough for the guys to understand, the young ###### clique yammering about cars and fortnite and the vets who are just kind of... there.

I bet nobody barely talks to Neal.

Saying a guy is well liked in the room is scripted NHL interviewing 101 and the media guys probably don't know #### all about what actually goes on in the room.

We've heard firsthand accounts from Ference after he high tailed it out of there and it wasn't glowing.

Oilers announcer mentioned that Oilers are #1 in the league in high danger chances. That just can’t be can it?

They're way up there in both high danger chances for and against.

Probably because they count everytime the puck touches McDanger’s stick as a dangerous chance.

I've had some of their games on but this is my first time really watching the Oilers this year.

Their defending is.... interesting. They play 5 on 5 like they're on the PK, not much movement or pressure. Then lots of small obstruction and interference

It is obligatory for Blackhawk fans, no matter the reality of actual team quality, to acknowledge this eternal truth: DETROIT SUCKS!

That goal was all on Andersson. Shouldn’t have lost the puck, should have stopped the shot.

Man these teams are bad.

Thankfully the Leafs break even on that PP.

And there it is.

The first “this guy scored” of the game.

LOL, Oilers defending.

Love this attempt by Larsson to block it after turning it over initially.

I really feel that, with no pre-season, defensive coordination will be bad, and goaltending will not be sharp.
